Still, people are criticizing the PSP Go, due to its immensely huge price and lack of games. The words spoken by the widely popular game developer of Lego Star Wars Jon Burton were “The PSP Go is going to die.” That’s rough especially coming from someone with so much experience, so what is Sony going to do about this? Well Sony’s response was that during the first week of the PSP Go’s release, it had an uplift of 300% and the game downloads have also been large.
So what is Jon Burton talking about? Well… Gamers are starting to get angry because of the download feature, one gamer stated that if he bought it at Amazon, he could get games 20% cheaper and could resell them after finished. But with the download, they get no discount and are stuck with the game. It seems that gamers have spoken and we will have to wait and see what sony reveals.
Stay tuned for more about the PSP Go.
Ok as many of you know, Assassins Creed came out about 2 weeks ago, I haven’t played it yet, but due to the first ones amazing graphics, creative gameplay, and a whole lot of fun, I can’t wait to buy this game!! I recommend it extremely, although it does get really repetitive but other than that, AWESOME!
The game itself is super addicting and takes some strategy to find your way around, I was a little dissapointed at how fast the game ended. I was hoping it would be ALOT longer something close to Twilight princess. Now Assassins Creed 2 is said to take the gaming experience one step further.
It shattered the ratings and got an unbelievable score of 9.2 from IGN!!! WOW!!! This game also is based alot on old history, but it makes it REALLY interesting. In Assassins Creed 2, your able to buy armor and new weapons! In the first game, you had a small variety of weapons, but you could use them in so many ways. The difficulty was actually fairly more difficult than I thought, but nothing you can’t handle.
Story line, missions, investigations, and a whole lot of blood! This is one game you don’t to miss! Keep checking back for the latest in gaming news.
Ok, this isn’t really new, but I thought id write about it anyway. This is probably the sweetest thing ive ever seen if it actually works the way its shown (video below). Its supposedly supposed to have voice recognition, full body control, and its pretty cheap. Ive heard rumors that the price on the camera is going to be $80, sounds pretty reasonable for what you can do with it.
I saw the commercial with an actual gun game and the way its shown, all I can say is, I can’t wait! Chances are that this thing isn’t going to do what it shows. Gamers everywhere were dissapointed and angry that the Wii controllers would not recognize movements and it became really frustrating. This is said to be breakthrough technology with everything u need.
It is probably limited on certain games that you can play on Natal, but ill let you decide for yourself, check this out:
Heres a new story for you, and the result might shock you. Microsoft is releasing a update for the Xbox 360 which will end up disabling the memory cards that are not recognized by Microsoft. Why is Microsoft doing this?? They believe it is an attempt to stop piracy. WHAT?!
On Microsoft’s blog, many angry gamers had a lot to say about this with the comment count already at 400. Gamers are upset because of Microsoft’s measly memory card which is $25 but has only 512 MB of memory. Other memory cards worth about $50 have been able to hold 4 GB of memory! That’s alot compared to that puny Microsoft memory card. Were not sure what’s going to happen, but well keep you updated.
I just picked up some information revealing 6 games that probably wont make it to shelves this year, too bad. Some of these are anticipated games and the number one spot belongs to my most anticipated game, Starcraft II. Heres the breakdown:
1. Starcraft 2: This game is the sequel to the original Starcraft which was very popular and still is, it was made back in 1996 so its a pretty old game, but old doesn’t always mean boring. The original game is actually played like a sport back in Korea, cool huh? Starcraft 2 is delivering new units, a new story, and a whole lot of fun.
2. Dante’s Inferno: This game was said to be similar to Sony’s God of War. It looks interesting and has a whole lot of sparks and flashes, ive heard alot of good things about this game so keep your eye out for previews and ratings!
3. I am Alive: This game is actually a action and survival typed game by Ubisoft which is out for both Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows. Its basically set up in Chicago and a earthquake hits the city, this man is getting worse by the day and waiting for rescue, he sets up a camp and needs to collect resources and materials to survive. Interesting.
4. Heavy Rain: Very little is known about this game, all we know is that its about a person who’s trying to save someone he loves very much. Basically showing how far someone would go to save this person that he loves.
5. Alpha Protocol: This game is actually a Action-Role playing game which involves a CIA agent named Micheal Thorton. After a mission goes terribly wrong, Micheal Thorton is betrayed by his fellow comrades, government, and if thats not bad enough, hunted! He begins using the Alpha Protocol and acts as an undercover agent.
6. Aliens VS Predator: AVP has been a hit game ever since the movies, now turning it into a pretty sweet game is Sega whose in turn working up on the follow up title. The game has a lot riding on it, it would actually be wise for Sega to give it a delay to make it better and possibly more enjoyable for gamers.

Heres something I ran into the other day, Sony is launching a new handheld device which is known as the PSP Go, basically it is an upgrade from the older version of the PSP, here are all of the features:
1. 16gb on board flash memory
2. 3.8 inch screen
3. 43% lighter than the PSP 3000
4. Blue Tooth Support
5. All Digital Content No UMD
6. You can add extra memory via memory card slot
7. Games , Movies , TV Shows, To Go
8. Releases This Fall 2009
Now this might sound great, but there’s only one problem, the price of this thing is crazy! it costs $80 more than the normal PSP! Now you might be rethinking about buying this expensive device, due to consumers negative reaction to the price, there may be a possibility of a price cut on the PSP Go. Keep checking the site for the latest info.
A new product is going to be introduced in stores, its not all that great, but it will be flying off the shelves due to its features. The new Wii Motionplus is designed to take complete precision on the Wii’s. Gamers have been disappointed by the old remotes lack of accuracy was always a downside. Not anymore! The Wii MotionPlus is going to start selling on June 8th, the difference between these remotes and the old ones are that the new ones use gyroscopic sensors to mimic hand movements exactly
“The great thing about this particular new technology — which isn’t always true for other new technologies — is that we immediately saw the benefits of it,” said Jason Shenkman, senior producer of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.
“Before I even touched it or got my hands on it, I knew exactly what having a gyroscope in our possession would do.”
It is still unclear why the original remotes weren’t released with this new technology.
“We are always looking at ways to enhance the gaming experience for consumers,” said Denise Kaigler, Nintendo vice president of corporate affairs. “This was another way of enhancing the gaming experience, and consumers will hopefully choose to experience that more immersive type of game play and enjoy it.”
“One of the cool things is that with Wii MotionPlus, we know how hard you have swung the remote,” Vandenberghe said. “That means we can ask the player to have a more physical experience, like having enemies who are wearing armor that players will have to hit harder with their sword.”
Only 5 games so far have been able to use this new technology and those games are: Tiger Woods, Wii Sports Resort from Nintendo, Grand Slam Tennis from Electronic Arts; Virtua Tennis 2009 from Sega, and Red Steel 2 from Ubisoft.
Look out Mario, you’ve got a new competitor. The Nintendo Wii the newest and most revolutionary system has just topped one of the most selling games ever. Mario used to be the biggest craze and the most sold game ever, not anymore.
Mario has just been topped by the new game Wii sports which allows a player to play around 5 different kinds of sports including Boxing, Bowling, Baseball, etc. The impressive part is it only took 2 months to top the best selling game ever!
Mario sales were 40.24 Million units and Wii sports has surpassed it. With over 45 million Wii’s sold and with a copy of Wii sports with every system sold its no wonder that it topped Mario. Before you say its a false victory, consider that Super Mario was also sold as a bundle during the 1980’s. Even without the bundle in Japan, Wii sports sold 3.2 million copies.
If your thinking of buying the The Sony PSP, might want to think again, Sony said it was going to be the Walkman of the 21st century… Right…
Its sales are down by 27% while its competitor the Nintendo DS is up 20% from last year. Nobody is making any PSP games, why? Because its not selling! Sales are down, its competitors have won this competition. There is probably nothing Sony can do to bring back this product.
Even though it is a little more advanced than the Nintendo DS, the people prefer the DS because of its multi-screen fun gaming handheld device. Its a fun game experience and is wiping the floor with the PSP.
The game game Fallout 3 is a shooting game involving every minute fighting for survival against the terrors of the outside world – radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. From Vault-Tec, America’s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation.
This is what the critics said:
Official Xbox Magazine
Games this captivating do not come along often. Between its engrossing story, ginormous world, well-crafted RPG side, and white-knuckle FPS combat, Fallout 3 completely, utterly gives you your $60 worth.
Faults be damned, though; this is the kind of hugely ambitious game that doesn’t come around very often, and when it does, you’d be a fool not to play it and enjoy the hell out of it and look forward to the day (next-next-gen?) when the fidelity of open-world RPGs takes another big step closer to the uncanny valley’s far side.
Fallout 3 almost effortlessly succeeds in its central aim of reviving a much-loved brand to appeal to the vast majority of players. It’s a thrilling, all-consuming experience that will absorb you for weeks, whether you’re attracted by the action, the adventure, or the role-playing, as you fall in love with the relentless excitement, incredible atmosphere, sense of place and sheer choice…Bethesda has once again delivered a game of life-affirming brilliance that will be heralded as a classic, and talked about for years to come.
and much much more. The Critics really liked the game and it sounds very interesting. It got very good reviews so id suggest checking it out.
